Broadcast Media Skills Training

DVPR bespoke media training and crisis communication skills training days are designed to give your staff a complete understanding of what the media expects from you and how to ensure your key messages are delivered in a professional and effective manner.

Hosted by award winning network journalists and experienced broadcast camera crew, we tailor our media training to make it relevant to your business, ensuring that role playing scenarios put you in realistic situations.

Our media training courses can be tailored towards Radio or Television, but typically a course would contain a mixture of both types of broadcast journalism alongside separate sessions for online content.

Some of the typical areas covered in our training are:

  • What the media want and expect from you
  • How can you maximise your opportunity
  • Ensure your key messages are aired
  • How to deal with a crisis
  • Reputation management
  • How your company can best use your time in the media spotlight

We ensure that all course participants get a chance to shine in front of camera, and give all a thorough understanding of best practice when it comes to TV interviews. We are also happy to create a report based on our findings of the strengths of each person attending our professional media training courses.
