DVPR help raise awareness of mental health in the hospitality sector with a video production for Hospitality Action.

Together with chef Charlie Hodson, the camera team visited Cromer pier to tell the story of Nyall Brown, as told by his father, Mearl.

First broadcast at a fundraiser evening for Hospitality Action in the East of England. The event took place at Holkham Hall in Norfolk.

Furthermore, the event celebrated Nyall’s life.

In the first place, the film highlighted the issue of suicide in the hospitality sector. It also offers help to those who may be suffering.

Secondly, the film conveyed the message for anyone who may need to talk that Hospitality Action have a helpline.

By the same token, we hope this mental health awareness video will strike a chord with others.

Sometimes the hardest stories to tell are the ones that need to be told the most.
